Free Trial Classes

Interested in becoming part of our team?

We offer a complimentary trial class for local residents visiting our academy for the first time.

No experience is necessary. Whether you are completely new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or have previous training experience, we would be happy to welcome you.

A loaner Gi is available for your trial class if needed.

Trial classes are available for:

• Children (4 years and older)
• Teens
• Adults

For children and teens, the trial class is also an opportunity for families to see if the program is a good fit and for Professor Marinho and his team to ensure that the student is ready to thrive in a positive group learning environment.

Every child develops at a different pace. Some students are ready to join immediately, while others may benefit from a little more time before beginning regular classes.

All trial classes are by appointment only.

Visitor Drop-In Classes

Visiting our academy?

To save time, please complete your drop-in registration online before arriving for class.

We offer both single-class drop-ins and visitor packages.

Purchase your Drop-In here:

All drop-in payments must be completed online prior to class.

• Drop-ins are available for adult classes only.
• Kids and Youth programs are reserved for enrolled members.
• Enrollment in our Kids and Youth programs is limited and subject to class availability.
• Exceptions may be granted at the academy's discretion.

Academy Uniform (Gi)

The official Carlson Gracie Napa Valley Gi is available in:

• White
• Blue
• Black

Gi: $150 / Belt: $20

A Gi is required for all Gi classes.

Students are not required to purchase their Gi from the academy; however, all uniforms must:

• Be designed specifically for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
• Be clean and in good condition
• Not display another academy's affiliation

These standards help maintain a professional training environment and team unity.
